Change 2012

Seriously, if I'd known choosing "change" as my word of the year was a sign of things to come I'd have rethunk it! LOL  The most interesting part is quite simply that the changes that are going on and in the near future are not calculated changes, they are events happening out of the clear blue sky.  And the fun part, so far anyhoo, there hasn't been any bad or upsetting changes.  (Yes, I am knocking on wood and quite thankful for that.)
I'm not going to announce anything just yet as there isn't anything in concrete but it looks as if my life is going to make a major turn by the end of 2012.  The changes to come are so dramatic that the state of sleep is even more elusive than normal for me as my mind is mulling everything over.
Change mulling = get creative!  Onward progress for my Crosswired socks.  Loving how these are coming together for sure.  I've got the foot done of the first sock and heading for the heel!

A little bit knitty....

I spent Thursday and Friday this past week in Holland, MI for work and no knitting!  Didn't even take a project with me, I know right,,,I can't believe it either.  WOW am I ever out of travel mode to not pack some relaxation!  Howeeeevvvverrrr, I did make up for it Saturday and Sunday by finishing up my Borracha socks (KBC pattern) and

started the new Crosswired socks for the KBC KAL!  Love them both, especially love the colors I chose for Crosswired, Devil in a Blue Dress and Margarita with Salt!

Candle Jars!

I absolutely love having candles burning all over the house, the ambiance the soft glow provides as well as the fragrance is just so calming to me.  With that said, I'm not a happy camper at the cost of good candles these days, which is one of the reasons I absolutely love this tutorial.  Tea lights are not outrageously priced and goodness knows I have enough (never, never, never) fabric as well as jam jars to make up a houseful of these kutie jam jar votives!  Check out the tutorial at Mollie Makes!
