Most quilters think of their first quilt as "not very good". It seems we all have that idea about our first ones. I can actually say my first one is excellent for a first one. Unbeknownst to me at the time, I did HSTs and flying geese blocks before I even knew they had names. Just followed the directions and did it! LOL My Ex still has the quilt and thankfully was available to take a few pics and email them to me. I still can't believe I didn't have pics myself. YIKES! Yes, he still has it as he was the one who got all the stuff for me to start quilting as a surprise including the pattern, fabrics, cutting mat, rotary cutter, Ginghers scissors, etc. I had talked about it for years and we were up North on a job one day, he was waiting for me and happened across a quilt store, the rest is history! So it definitely belongs with him!

My First Quilt!
Pat Sloan's blog post today was chatting about first quilts and whether we want to see her first one or not! My answer of course was a big YUPPERS! Bring it on! With that said, the chatter at the group site got going and we're bringing out the firsts! WOO HOO!
